Job description
The Head of Finance position is a high-impact role supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to build & drive the financial function of the company
What you will do
  • Drive and own internal operational, financial & analytical decision support. Including gathering, coordinating, and providing timely information for ongoing business planning.
  • Drive and maintain management and board reporting; including running OKRs dashboard; structure performance & planning information for weekly updates and as needed.
  • Support business planning & analysis, incl. maintaining the financial model and creating financial forecasts & scenarios.
  • Manage dialogue with external accountants, auditors and financing providers. Responsible for the Company’s financial statements & reporting, compliance and adherence to local rules and regulations.
  • Support CEO and Board of Directors on other ad-hoc tasks (e.g. various investment and strategic analysis), as well as the broader management team as needed (e.g. international investments, transfer pricing, legal documentation, registration, and management of legal entities, etc).
  • Actively support the strategy and value creation plan of the company and implement/drive best-practice-private equity ways-of-working
  • Actively contribute to shaping the growth- and strategic-agenda; drive corporate and strategic activity to further support the investment case, Inc. Business development, financing activities and investor relations
Who you are
  • Higher education in business and financial management.
  • 4+ years of experience in professional environment; preferably from a similar role and/or experience working in private equity.
  • Strong technical knowledge: accounting systems, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-growth company where things are constantly changing.
  • Excellent analytics skill and abilities to derive strategic directions based on market analysis and competitor positioning.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills while being autonomous, responsive, involved, curious, and open-minded.
  • Fluent or native English proficiency.
  • An understanding of subscription businesses and preferably software-as-a-service.

Location: Preferably  Stavanger, hybrid remote is possible
