We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about ensuring that Shoreline customers get the best possible experience. You will build up knowledge of our customers workflows and needs to ensure product quality before releases. This includes close collaboration with our Engineering teams, Product and UI/UX department to deliver and shape high-quality SaaS and mobile products for our customers.
What you will do
  • Be part of the Engineering team and participate in scrum events
  • Work closely together with UX designers and product owners/stakeholders
  • Assist in acceptance testing user stories
  • Become an expert in our products and learn our customers’ needs and workflows
  • Be responsible for defining and maintaining test strategies, including:
    • Writing test cases and ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are testable
    • Have Equal focus on functional and non-functional tests
    • Creating and maintaining test data
  • Take responsibility for planning, executing, documenting, and continuously improving relevant tests, including:
    • Adapting the test plan based on test results to proactively counteract future problems
    • Manage and report product risks
    • Reporting defect during testing of items under development
    • Communicate with product owners during the software development iterations
  • Collaborate with other Automation Test/QA engineers for alignment, support and knowledge sharing across teams
Who you are
  • Quality-conscious
  • A Team player
  • Have minimum 5 years work experience as a QA engineer
  • Experienced with agile development processes and methods
  • Experienced with test automation
  • Experienced with usability testing
  • Experienced with Jira and Xray or similar
  • ISTQB certified or equivalent
  • Software development experience
  • Experience with Playwright
